DBT Coaching for BPD and Improved Mental Health
Living with and loving someone with borderline personality disorder (BPD) or high emotional sensitivity is challenging. It can feel lonely, defeating, and at times terrifying.
I’m here to help guide you toward evidence-based tools and skills — and to help you practice them in real life situations — to help you reduce conflict in all areas of life and create healthy relationships with friends, family, romantic partners, and other people in general.
As a highly-trained professional dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) coach who formerly worked as a psychiatric and ER nurse, I bring with me the knowledge and skills to help people who are suffering from BPD or high emotional sensitivity, as well as those who are close to them. I am also qualified to train and provide resources to other DBT coaches and therapists.
My goal is to help anyone who needs it, because everyone deserves to have a life worth living.
let's work
BPD Coaching Solutions for Individuals, Families and Loved Ones
Working through BPD doesn’t only affect the person with the diagnosis. When a friend or loved one is suffering from BPD, it affects you too.
Individual DBT Coaching for BPD
If you are personally suffering from BPD or a related condition, you’ve probably experienced how every day can be unpredictable and uncontrollable.
You wake up with a plan, only to have relatively small things derail your mindset and daily goals.
I can help.
Family DBT Coaching for BPD
Not only does it hurt to see someone you care about going through that suffering, but you may also find yourself on the receiving end of some of that negative behavior, and not know quite what to do.
I also provide DBT coaching for those who want to be good allies for people with BPD.
Supported Online Programs
Many people lack the time and money to invest into solutions for understanding a new BPD diagnosis, the science of emotional sensitivity, and answers to their many, many questions.
I designed my online programs and courses specifically for those with limited time and budget who desperately need helpful info and actionable next steps.

Lisa's background as a nurse makes her uniquely qualified to explain the physical connections to mental health concerns.
I never felt that any of my issues were minimized and they were all addressed in a way that was sensitive to the amount of time and mental energy I had dedicated to work on my issues. I have had more success with Lisa than any other therapist I have worked for in terms of making progress toward dealing with core issues.I struggled for a long, long time to find therapy that offered some kind of structure as it seem so many therapists only do free-form talk therapy.
You are able to offer advice and knowledge while still leaving space open for the interpretation of the individual or for input from the group. I also feel very, very happy that you are a sex-positive, queer friendly coach which can be hard to find!Lisa is absolutely amazing.
One of her best traits in my opinion is her ability to help clients feel safe and comfortable, to experience and express all emotions and stay calm, understanding, and strong when needed. I feel I have complete trust with her and can tell her anything and not receive judgments. I can truly be myself in front of her.Lisa helped me gain self awareness related to how I was feeling and reacting to circumstances in my life.
Lisa’s experience and confidence in what she was saying about me and my circumstances is what gave me the confidence that I could trust her. Trusting someone other than myself was very difficult for me, especially with what I had just experienced. It was critical for Lisa to gain my trust for any change to occur. She did that.Get updates
